The City of Billings Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite the public to attend the Castle Rock Park Playground Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, July 6th, at 10:00 am. The celebration will be held at Castle Rock Park (W. Wicks Ln.) just south of the spray grounds.

We will have special guests in attendance for the ceremony and ribbon cutting. Following the ceremony, families are welcome to enjoy the new playground. To mark the grand opening, we have invited our newest recreation program Rec2U, as well as the Billings Public Library Bookmobile and the Altana FCU Ice Cream Van.

The playground at Castle Rock Park features a nature-play design with integrated landscaping. It is officially the tallest play structure in Billings Parks, at 33-feet tall. The playground also includes a designated play structure for young children ages 2-5, swings, a 90-foot zipline, rope climb and rock climbing elements.

Please join us as we dedicate the playground to the community and open the playground for families to enjoy!
