Qualifications:

Valid Montana Educators License

Bachelor’s degree in Education

Successful teaching experience

Reports to:  School Principal

Performance Responsibilities (may include but not limited to the following)

Evidence of knowledge of research-based math and reading best practices

Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and building administrator to coordinate intervention effortsImplement effective math and reading interventions and programs

Understands, interprets, and provides instruction based on data such as Fast Bridge, NWEA, and DRA

Working knowledge of Multi-tiered Systems of Support Model and progress monitoring cycle

Ability to tailor teaching to meet individual student needs

Working knowledge of the scope and sequence of K-5 reading and math with a focus on  the critical areas and concepts

Communicate and document students’ progress to parents and school staff

Facilitates scheduling of interventions to meet student needsParticipates in grade level Professional Learning Community Meetings at all grade levels

Utilize progress-monitoring tools to document student growth and differentiate intervention instruction
