U.S. Senators Steve Daines and Tim Sheehy have welcomed the announcement that Bozeman, Montana, will host a new U.S. Patent and Trademark Community Engagement Office. The Department of Commerce made this decision after Daines and Sheehy sent a letter to Secretary Lutnick advocating for an office in Montana. This will be the first such office in the western United States.
Daines said, “Montana’s place as a leader in technology innovation is further solidified with the announcement of the new Patent and Trademark Community Outreach Office coming to Bozeman. Governor Gianforte’s leadership and vision combined with Montana’s exceptional workforce made this announcement possible.”
Sheehy added, “Thanks to the gritty, hardworking spirit of our talented people, Montana is a national leader for technological innovation and the perfect place for this new office. With the Trump Administration’s visionary leadership and strong support, this partnership will create high-paying Montana jobs, support Montana businesses, and strengthen Montana communities. The future is bright, and I know Montana will continue leading from the front to secure America’s technological and economic dominance in the 21st century.”
