Agent Burke does not work for the Custer County Sheriff’s Office as a “detective”.

Do not pay any fines over the phone to “Detective” Burke.

Do not buy any gift cards or read ”Detective” Burke any of the numbers off the gift cards or your credit or debit cards.Once you read the numbers off of a gift card to someone there is virtually no way to track or recover that money!

Do not give “Detective” Burke any of your personal information like social security number, date of birth, or any financial information. Don’t even tell him which bank you use!

When in doubt hang up and verify with the Agency that “Detective” Burke “works for” to see if he is even real.
