Matt Rosendale, a U.S. Congressman representing Montana’s 2nd district since 2021, has expressed his views on social and military issues through recent tweets. Rosendale, who succeeded Greg Gianforte, has served in various political capacities including the Montana House of Representatives and the Montana Senate. His comments reflect his positions on religious beliefs and military policies.

On December 9, 2024, Matt Rosendale shared a biblical verse from Romans 5:8 via Twitter. He quoted, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

On December 11, 2024, Rosendale voiced his opinion on military funding and abortion practices. He stated that “Americans should never be forced to fund military practices that aid servicemembers in aborting their children.”

In another tweet on the same day, he criticized the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). He remarked that “This NDAA fails to terminate the current military abortion travel policy, continues biased diversity, equity, and inclusion practices at the Pentagon, and does nothing to prohibit taxpayer funded transgender surgeries for those serving.”
