Removal Work is Underway by City of Billings Public Works

0Comments

T-storms over the weekend brought down branches and leaves all over the city.  This debris clogs the storm drain inlets and severely reduces the ability of the streets to drain. With nearly 10,000 inlets in the system, it is not possible for the city to clear them all during or shortly after a rain event. Please help yourself and your neighbors by clearing the inlet on your street.  And, it works best to remove the debris from the street, otherwise, it just plugs up again as soon as it rains. Crews are out clearing inlets this week but if you can do the one on your street, you can help protect your home in case it rains again. Thank you!
