NOTICE OF CLOSE OF REGULAR VOTER REGISTRATION AND OPTION FOR LATE REGISTRATION
Notice is hereby given by the undersigned Clerks of Ashland, School District #32-J Monica Morgan, Clerk Birney, School District #3 Marge Hamilton , Clerk Colstrip, School District #19 Brittany Allen, Clerk Forsyth, School District #4 Stacy Montgomery, Clerk Lame Deer, School District #6 Lillian Bigman, Clerk Rosebud, School District #12 Judy Hotter, Clerk Melstone, School District #64-J Justina Marshall, Clerk (Old Ingomar District)Rosebud County, State of Montana that regular registration for the Annual School Election to be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 will close at 5:00 pm on April 3, 2023
NOTE: If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by showing up at the county election office before 12 noon the day before Election Day. You may also register and Vote on Election Day up until 8 p.m. but you must Register at the County Election Office and then go to the School to get a Ballot.
All active and inactive electors of the above named school districts are entitled to vote at said election.
Ashland, Rosebud , Melstone and Birney will be conducting a Poll Election. Inactive electors may reactivate by appearing at the polling place in order to vote, by requesting an absentee ballot in any election, or by notifying the county election administrator in writing of the elector’s current address in the county.
Lame Deer, Forsyth, and Colstrip will be conducting a Mail Ballot Election. Ballots will be automatically mailed to active electors only. If you are a registered voter and do not receive a ballot, contact the county election office to update your information as necessary and receive a ballot.
Persons who wish to register and who are not presently registered may do so by requesting a form for registration by mail or by appearing at the county election office. If you have moved, please update your registration information by filling out a new voter registration card and submitting it to the county election office. Late registration is only available through the county election office, and not the school district.
