Steve Daines, U.S. Senator representing Montana since 2015, posted a series of updates on his social media account addressing healthcare policy, constituent engagement, and affordability concerns for Montanans.

On December 16, 2025, Daines wrote, “Obamacare has failed – let’s give power back to the patients.”

The following day, he highlighted his ongoing outreach with constituents in Washington, D.C., posting on December 17, 2025: “Always great to catch up with Montanans in D.C. at MT Coffee!”

Later that same day, Daines referenced national policy and its impact on local residents: “Thanks @POTUS for making life more affordable for Montanans!”

Daines is a fifth-generation Montanan who grew up in Bozeman and attended public schools there. He earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Montana State University and held management positions at Procter & Gamble as well as an executive role at a Bozeman-based software firm before entering politics (official website).
