Steve Daines, U.S. Senator from Montana, shared updates on his recent engagements and perspectives through a series of posts on September 16, 2025.
In one post, Daines highlighted a meeting with agricultural leaders in Washington, D.C., stating on September 16: “Great meeting with the Montana Grain Growers Association today in DC. Montana produces the highest quality crops in the world – thanks for all your hard work!” The Montana Grain Growers Association represents wheat and barley producers across the state and advocates for their interests at both state and federal levels.
Later that day, Daines reflected on an international experience involving U.S. officials and new archeological discoveries. On September 16 he posted: “A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Bible come to life yesterday at the City of David in Jerusalem. @SecRubio & @USAmbIsrael did a phenomenal job representing the U.S. The new archeological discoveries are incredible & I’ll be forever grateful for the opportunity to stand”. The City of David is an important archaeological site in Jerusalem that has yielded findings related to ancient Israelite history.
Daines also encouraged followers to read his commentary on diplomatic matters between the United States and Israel, posting on September 16: “Read my take on the future of U.S. – Israel relations in the Daily Caller:
