The BLM is looki0ng for public comments on the Pryor Wild Horse Herd Management Area Plan. | Facebook
The Bureau of Land Management Billings Field Office will be taking comments on the management objectives for the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range Herd Management Area Plan, but all comments must be submitted by May 15.
If any member of the public wants to submit a comment, they must be sure it is specific to either short-term or long-term management objectives, according to a press release from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). All comments must also be about the characteristics of the herd or habitat.
The press release said that the plan covers areas that are administered by the BLM. It also has areas covered by the National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service, the release said.
The current management level for the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range Herd is 90 to 120 horses, according to the agency.
