Montana State University-Billings enrolls 3,960 undergrads

At Montana State University-Billings, 60 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 64 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Billings enrolled 4,315 students in fall 2018, including 3,960 in undergraduate and 355 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

90 percent of undergraduates are residents of Montana, and 9 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (81 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (6 percent).
