We are SO excited to be part of this year's Strawberry Festival that's happening this Saturday, July 8 from 9 to 4! Thank you to Downtown Billings for making room so we can join in on the fun!
More often than not, City departments only cross paths with citizens when our services are needed. Well, we want to go beyond that and be more accessible. That's why we decided to try something new and get a group of departments together in one spot at one of the biggest events of the summer.
Read on to find out what departments have planned for you at their booth:
Administration & Council - Catch up with your council members, pick up gear to represent your City, and brush up on your traffic safety knowledge.
MET - Climb aboard a bus, cool down, and learn more about routes available throughout the City.
Fire - Check out a fire engine up close, meet some of our firefighters, and learn about fire safety.
Police & Crime Prevention Center - Pop into one of our patrol cars, pick up a gun lock thanks to a safety project with RiverStone Health, and find out more about the upcoming Beat the Heat 5K and Fire vs. PD softball game!
Library - Visit the book library, get free books & fun prizes, and find out about upcoming events.
Parks and Recreation - See the new Rec2U van, learn about community gardens, and pick up your own seedling starters to take home.
Mobilize the MAGIC City - Find out more about the project that's expanding and enhancing the public art scene.
Public Works - There's more than meets the eye when it comes to services by our public works department. Meet the supervisors and get the inside scoop on our infrastructure.
