A Missoula woman has been sentenced to six and one-half years in prison for conspiring to traffic methamphetamine and fentanyl. The sentence will be followed by five years of supervised release, according to U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich.

Robin Marie Holcomb, 42, pleaded guilty in May to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances. U.S. District Judge Donald W. Molloy presided over the case.

Court documents indicate that from May 2022 to September 2023, Holcomb and others distributed meth and fentanyl in the Missoula area. Law enforcement executed a search warrant at a hotel where Holcomb was staying and found methamphetamine and 99 fentanyl pills. Holcomb attempted to contact her sister to remove cash and drugs from her vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed $20,520 in cash, approximately one and three-quarters pounds (794 grams) of methamphetamine, and 5,013 fentanyl pills.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office prosecuted the case with investigations conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Missoula High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force.

This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence through collaboration between law enforcement agencies and communities. The Department launched an enhanced violent crime reduction strategy on May 26, 2021, focusing on fostering community trust, supporting violence prevention organizations, setting strategic enforcement priorities, and measuring results.
