Billings Fire Department announces tour dates for station visits in fall

The Billings Fire Department has announced the schedule for its 2025 station tours. The tours offer attendees a chance to view fire apparatus and tools, learn about fire safety, and understand the role of firefighters in the community.

The tour dates and locations are as follows:

- March 6 at Station 3, located at 1928 17th Street West

- April 17 at Station 6, located at 1601 St. Andrews Drive

- May 1 at Station 8, located at 760 Lake Elmo Drive

- June 5 at Station 5, located at 605 South 24th Street West

- July 10 at Station 7, located at 1501 54th Street West

- August 21 at Station 4, located at 475 Sixth Street West

- September 18 at Station 2, located at 501 South Twenty-Eighth Street

Tours require an appointment. Interested groups and organizations should contact (406)237-6193 to be added to the schedule.

The season will conclude with the Third Annual Open House and Community Safety Day on October 4, from ten in the morning until four in the afternoon. This event will take place at Station One.

Deputy Fire Marshal Andy Ekblad stated: “Our goal for that day is to provide our community with a wide array of safety knowledge, so we partner with local organizations and bring them all under one roof.”

Community Safety Day is open to people of all ages without any cost.
