Beaverhead County wants feedback from community members on its future development.
Individuals can take part in an online survey from the Planning Board and Department until Monday, Nov. 30, according to a post on Beaverhead County’s website.
“This community survey is an opportunity for you to share your opinions on the issues and opportunities the county faces,” the online survey states. “Your input will help the County Planning Board create an overall vision and priorities for the county’s future.”
Survey takers will be asked to identify the county’s greatest assets and weaknesses, areas where land development should be limited or restricted, services that would be beneficial to communities such as Wisdom and Lima, what amenities should be marketed more to attract visitors, and how to protect rural areas while the county grows. The survey will also ask respondents to rank topics that are most important to them including clean water and air, economic opportunities and access to hunting and fishing.
