Beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, travelers will access the TSA checkpoint through a newly constructed ramp and staircase located next to the former screening area.
The ramp and staircase will take travelers to the airport restaurant Logan’s Diner, and lead to a secondary ramp that takes you to TSA.
You can also access the second ramp by going up the restaurant’s front steps and walking through Logan’s Diner.
As airport construction continues, this will be the route to TSA through September/October of 2023.
Signage will be in place to guide travelers, and a construction wall will block the former screening area to eliminate any confusion.
The airline ticket counters remain in the same location.
We ask travelers to say their goodbyes on the first floor to avoid creating congestion in the TSA area.
These changes are part of a large terminal expansion project. It is being done in five phases to minimize the impact on business and travel. We are currently in phase three. The old screening area will be closed and remodeled into the new lower lobby area.
The new lower lobby area will provide more space for greeting returning passengers and seeing departing passengers off on their flights.
